Hi, I’m Anthony Pennisi, owner of Domenick’s Furniture Manufacturer — a family-rooted business based right in High Point, North Carolina, the heart of American furniture making.

Our story started with my father, who immigrated from Italy and brought with him old-world craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic — values that still guide everything we do today. That’s actually why we named the company Domenick’s — after him. And that legacy of quality is something we take a lot of pride in.

At Domenick’s, we specialize in both large-scale private label manufacturing and smaller custom orders. We’re a fully integrated operation — cutting, sewing, upholstery, woodshop, and finishing — all under one roof. We’re a true one-stop shop.

Now, in today’s global climate — with tariffs pushing up the cost of imports and supply chains becoming less reliable — domestic manufacturing is more important than ever. My phone hasn’t stopped ringing. Big box retailers are struggling to get sofas and chairs from overseas, and they’re turning to American manufacturers like us to fill that gap.

To meet the growing demand, we’re looking to expand our upholstery production and increase capacity. But to do that — and stay globally competitive — we need federal support. That means investment in modern machinery, advanced technology, and workforce development, so we can deliver high-quality products at lower costs.

President Trump has been clear about the importance of bringing manufacturing back to the U.S. — and we’re ready to lead that effort. But we need the tools to compete, not just now, but for the long haul.

Because here’s the truth: if tariffs eventually go away, we don’t want to lose those customers back to Importing. We want to be competitive enough that they choose to stay with American manufacturing — no matter what.
